Greetings all who wrestle for the Kingdom.
A Two Minute Drill
Have you ever been in a situation that seemed insurmountable? How about this one. You get a call that you have been hoping for which represents a huge breakthrough on a project that will be your family’s provision from many years to come. They are saying “Yes”. They are in Omaha and you are in Ohio. You do not have enough money to make the trip.
Insurmountable facts.
Oh, he had checked air fares on an internet site and the cost of the round trip ticket was $696.00. He had $520.00 and that needed to cover hotel and meals as well.
Insurmountable facts.
The person who had this dilemma called a friend from church and the friend asked “have you prayed?” What a concept. The person in the pit said “No, but that is a good idea.” He prayed and asked God what to do. He heard in his spirit “Trust me, it is taken care of, relax.” So he called the church friend back and told him what God had said and related that an overwhelming peace had come over him so he was going to go to a coffee shop and blow up aliens on his computer and wait.
After a sufficient number of alien invaders had met their cyber-death at his hand he was prompted to go and check the fares again. The saga began around 1PM and it was now 4:30. He went back to the site and the fare was the same. The Spirit said “go to the next step”. So he clicked on the next step and the Spirit said “check the hotel deals.” So he did.
One of the offers was for a 3 star hotel for two nights and the round trip airfare for $318.00. He thought no way but clicked the offer. It went through. God had provided the RT ticket and two nights in a brand new hotel and left $200.00 for food and extra expenses. Now that is a wow.
Actually, it was a wow just as it sat but God was not done with the lesson. The fellow got an email three days later explaining that a worker had clicked the wrong button on the offer and put in a minus amount instead of a positive amount thus not only giving the rooms for free but having the hotel pay for $300.00 of the plane fare. The mistake was caught quickly (within two minutes of when it was offered) but since he was on the site legitimately and had clicked the approve button they were honoring the offer. Just don’t expect similar deals in the future.
There was a two minute window for this blessing to be realized and he was in it. He was the only person who got the deal.
A two minute freill of obedience.
Does anyone think God’s timing is best? Can you trust it? Are you listening for His direction so you can be at peace in your insurmountable situation while God does His work?
Nothing is impossible for Him …… nothing. Even the small seemingly insurmountable details.
Oh, and an intercessor who had been hired by this man to pray for his business had a dream a few days before this occurred and the word “Omaha” was prominent in the dream. He had been praying over Omaha for days not knowing what was going on. God even sent a dream to initiate prayer support for His work.
Somebody say Amen.
Here are some results from God’s perfect timing activity in the past month …
REPORTS: • A woman emailed a report after being prayed for at the “W”; Thanks for praying for me, too! My eye seems quite a lot better and my shoulder has improved. The cracked tooth was worked on last week by a dentist. Thanks for caring about us and so many others!! God bless you both! Thank you gracious Father for answering prayer. • A man who was prayed for by WT members at a conference last summer sent a note to say thanks; PS. My back pain has remained significantly better since your team prayed for me. I have very little problems with it any more. God, You honor Your Son and Your Word. Thank You. • A man emailed this testimony; HI TED I AM SEEING GOD CONTINUE TO IMPROVE MY <> CONDITION. I AM NOT AT 100% YET. PLEASE CONTINUE TO RAISE ME UP BEFORE GOD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT. GOD IS GOOD Father, thank you for progress, complete the work we pray. • We get comments on the Update every month about how God used it in a unique way to bless someone. Here is another example; Hi Ted A funny thing (funny in the sense that God is working)...I was led to that same passage in 2 Chronicles last week, and I came to that same verse as one that God was leading me to for meditation. I've been struggling getting a sin out of my life, and this seemed to be the prescription that God was leading me to. Funny, how I forgot about it until now. Thanks for the email Father, thank you for breathing Your life into our simple words. • An older gentleman was having trouble sleeping due to restless leg syndrome. His daughter is part of the Wrestling Team and she told him “Dad, speak to your legs and tell them to be quiet in the name of Jesus.” He began to have symptoms that night and he did what his daughter suggested and the shaking stopped. He had a great nights rest and has been sleeping now for a few nights without any incidents. Thank You Father for giving us Your Word and breathing Your life and power into it. • A woman who had arthritis in her back for 10 years was prayed for last year and reported back that she has been pain free for almost a year now. We bless you Healing Lord. • A young boy was prayed for at the “W” regarding a stutter that had started (he is 2 years old). As the team ministered to him and prayed he began singing “I get knocked down, but I get up again, ain’t never goin’ to keep me down!”. Father, Your sheep hear Your voice and from the mouths of babes wisdom comes. Thank You. • A woman with a broken foot was prayed for and the pain stopped. Yes and amen. • A young man was prayed for by the WT on Sunday who had severe Shingles in his face that had moved onto his eyeball. He reported a week later that the pain diminished over two days and did there was no residual damage to the eye. Bless you Adonai. • A young man needed work and found a job the next day. Faithful God we love You. •A woman was prompted to ask her co-workers to begin praying with her at the beginning of each shift waiting tables. That day was slow traffic but she made over $80.00 in tips. It had continued in that fashion every day since. God You are a blessing to Your children. • A woman had had a severe cough when she came to the “W”. We prayed for her and when asked to pray for the next person she did and the cough had gone completely and did not come back. You are amazing Holy Lord. • A woman with Oxygen deprivation of an unknown origin came to the “W” and reported a week later the doctor’s ran additional tests removed all breathing aids and medication because her oxygen levels inexplicably had gone back to normal. Somebody should say AMEN. • A man experienced peace in a very difficult job situation after praying for his co-workers with a team at the “W”. Shalom is Your name Lord, thank You for living up to it. • More “box of prayer” at the “W” reports. We had everyone write down their requests and put them into the box and then gathered around the box, anointed it and all prayed at once for the requests. A man who needed a job had his name placed in the box. A week later he was employed. A boy with Asthma had his name placed in the box and his symptoms went away that night. We went outside the box by going into a box. We bless you Healing Lord that the prayers of Your people are effective and accomplish much.
